Lapedona rises on the hills of the Province of Fermo, between the Aso valley and the Adriatic coast, less than an hour from Ancona.
What makes a wedding in Lapedona different?
Through a direct agreement with the Comune di Lapedona, the main square is reserved for one wedding at a time. The borgo gathers the celebration between its fountain, its loggiato and its churches.
Where is the ceremony held?
Religious ceremonies are held in the church of Santi Nicolò e Martino on the main square — a sober baroque interior with the largest painted ceiling in the Marche.
Where is the reception?
Piazza Leopardi hosts open-air banquets beside the fountain and the loggiato of the town hall. Indoors, the eighteenth-century municipal hall seats up to 100, and the public gardens on the northern side open toward Fermo for the aperitivo.
